Cindy, a SAHM of two, started Oopsie Dazie because she couldn’t find any unique hair accessories for her daughter. She started with clips and grew to headbands and pony tail holders. These were made during my daughter's first year of preschool. The one on the left is (unfortunately) made of construction paper. Needless to say, it won't hold up well. The one on the right is made of the craft foam kits from Oriental Trading. They're very inexpensive. I'm not thrilled with the Christmas tree one though. As you can see, the red berries fall off very easily.
We made these last year at preschool. Thankfully, we were able to use a dye cut machine to make the Christmas trees. We used some old buttons that we had in the supply closet and some glitter for the garland. I think the foam only costs us $2. These were very thrifty ornaments! :)
My daughter came home with the stocking on the left. I think it was made with a kit, but it is made from craft foam. I'm sure you could also make this with cardstock or fabric. The one on the right is simply beads strung onto pipe cleaner. This is one of my daughter's favorite ornaments.

My daughter brought this home from school this week. I thought it was a cute idea. Just divide the paper into four sections and write the seasons on the paper. For spring use blue fingerprints, summer is a sun made from a yellow circle, fall is foam leaf stickers, and winter is foam snowflake stickers.
A reader at DLTK sent in this idea. The only paint colors you need are red and white.
