Four Seasons Activity
My daughter brought this home from school this week. I thought it was a cute idea. Just divide the paper into four sections and write the seasons on the paper. For spring use blue fingerprints, summer is a sun made from a yellow circle, fall is foam leaf stickers, and winter is foam snowflake stickers.

Santa Claus Handprint Craft
A reader at DLTK sent in this idea. The only paint colors you need are red and white.
Paint your child's hand with white paint on the tip of the thumb, white on the fingers for Santa's beard, red on the ball of the hand with a little white under it, and pink on the palm (mix the white and red to make the pink).
After the paint dries, use markers to make Santa's face, cut around the paper, punch a hole in the top, and add a string to hang the ornament.

Gingerbread House
Now that I am not teaching, I have a preschool website and I need lots of ideas. lol It seems when I was in "teacher mode" I could think of ideas all day long. Thankfully, one of my best friends sends me pictures of her daughter's creations.
To make the gingerbread house (which really isn't made of gingerbread, lol) they used a small milk carton for the center to hold up the crackers. The exterior is made of graham crackers, icing, and candy.
Have fun and enjoy making a mess! :)
