Alligator starts preschool tomorrow. She's been in half-day programs before. Most of the time she has been in preschool where I've been teaching. There were a few months after Cuddlebug was born where she went to a program by herself, just a few days a week. This only lasted a few months because we moved.
This is a big step. I can't believe she'll be in a full-day program. This is a program that is offered through the public schools. I've heard lots of good stuff about this program. We went by to visit her school last week. They had so many manipulatives and great learning toys. There was a nice kid-friendly computer too that Alligator is excited about. She told me that tomorrow she's going to play Mr. Potato Head and the computer.
My little girl is growing up. Part of me questions if this is right. I know that it is and I know that it will be good for her (and me!). I guess there's just a part of me that wants to hold on to her for a little while longer.

Congrats to Alligator! I know she will have a blast. I hope her first day goes well for both of you. :)
Thanks. It has been a hard morning for Cuddlebug. He wanted to stay at school. He has been so upset this morning and hasn't been easily comforted. I hope/know it will get better.
Wow! she is a cutie pie. sounds like she's going to have a great time. i hope you'll be ok :)
I sure wish I could afford preschool here at least two days.
Thanks Tanyetta. Fortunately, this program is free. Otherwise, we couldn't afford it. They even give them breakfast and lunch. It used to be really hard to get into the program, but they've opened up many more classes at other schools. Cuddlebug was so upset today that he couldn't stay! He was hysterical!!!!! I need to see if we can afford 1-2 days a week at a half-day program for him.
